* Love Languages - Scott Ketring  

Scott A. Ketring is an Associate Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Auburn University and is 2ndCounselor in the Stake Presidency. He has published 43 articles, and book chapters on relationships. He has developed two national programs for relationship education and has taught classes for 16 years. He is a Co-Director on the Alabama Community Healthy Marriage Initiative for the last 10 years.  During this timeframe the state of Alabama has decreased in divorce from 44th nationally to 29th. He is a frequent speaker on the local, state, national, and international levels about child abuse, relationship violence, and how to improve relationships. He was trained by Dr. Feinauer in trauma therapy working with abuse and violence victims and war veterans. He served his mission in Mexico City East Mission. He has been married to Laurinda Ketring for 25 years. They have five children. He has served as Scout Master, Clerk, Primary Worker, and Bishop. He has presented for LDS audiences in Alabama, Louisiana, Washington D.C., and Malaysia.

Mark Beesley was raised in Utah, served a mission in Detroit Michigan. He raced bicycles while attending Weber State University.  He earned a degree in Communication, Public Relations.  He has taught seminary and institute since 1991, 10 years in Grace and Montpelier Idaho with 15 years in Auburn AL.

* Christ Centered Home/Life - Eric Pennington

​

Eric Pennington has been an entrepreneur since graduating from law school at Emory University.  Eric practiced law in Utah for about five years before he repented and took a real job.  After his brief law career, Eric has dabbled in real estate development, insurance, and software.  Currently Eric is a partner with a software development firm that he co-founded.  He is also an active real estate investor.  Eric's greatest achievement in life was convincing his wife Trish to marry him.  Trish grew up in Pennsylvania and Eric is a farm boy from Montana.  They met at BYU shortly after Eric returned from a mission in Recifie, Brazil. Eric and Trish have four beautiful daughters, three son-in-laws, and six grandchildren.  Church service includes his current calling as a counselor in the Sugar Hill stake presidency.  Eric has also served as a Bishop in Dahlonega, Georgia.

* Your Personal Liahona - Brother and Sister Vallery

Brother and Sister Vallery joined the Church in 1978 in San Antonio Texas.  They have two children and six grandchildren.   Brother Vallery has recently served as second counselor in the Atlanta Temple Presidency.   He has served as the Columbus Georgia Stake Patriarch since 29 January 2012.

FRED A. PARKER III

 

Elder Fred A. Parker III was named a member of the Sixth Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 31, 2012.

Elder Parker received a bachelor’s degree in public communication from San Francisco State University in 1987. He began his career in operations for the United States Army, and later retired from the Army as a Sergeant Major.  Currently he is an information technology solutions manager for the Atlanta Housing Authority.

Elder Parker has served in numerous Church callings including primary teacher, ward and branch mission leader, elders quorum president, branch president, bishop, stake presidents counselor, and stake president.

Fred Antioni Parker III was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 22, 1961.  He married Lina O. Malolo in February 1983. They are the parents of five children and the grandparents of seven grandchildren. Elder and Sister Parker reside in Union City, Georgia.
